IPL: Is Dhoni going to china?
Dhoni chains the way to return to the Super Kings next season in the IPL season. The decision was taken at the IPL Governing Council meeting held in Delhi. Chennai and Rajasthan have been banned for two years for spot-fixing charges. The governing council said that both these teams had to keep their old players in check.
ILL Governing Council has given franchises to hold the maximum of five players who have played with them last year. Of these, three were domestic cricketers, while only two were sentenced to be aliens.
BCCI's Provisional Secretary Amitabh Chaudhary said the franchisees would be able to hold five players with players retiring (Prior Player Auction) and Right Too (during auction). The franchises can hold up to three capped Indian players, two overseas players and two unopened Indian players.
Rajasthan Royals and Chennai Super Kings will be able to take players in their own teams in 2015 for Pune and Gujarat Lions. The players like Dhoni and Raina will join the team.
